Christmas Twinkle

macOS Menu Bar App v1.0

Add twinkling lights and gentle snowfall to your desktop. Festive, lightweight, and click-through.

⚡️ Quick Tips

Nothing appears on screen

Open the menu bar icon and toggle Lights and/or Snow on. If you just plugged/unplugged a monitor, toggle the effect off and back on to refresh.

It shows on one display but not another

Christmas Twinkle creates an overlay per display. If your display layout changed, a quick toggle usually fixes it. Quitting and reopening also refreshes overlays instantly.

Launch at Login doesn’t stick

macOS may require approval. Go to System Settings → General → Login Items and allow Christmas Twinkle.

Want better battery life?

Try using Lights only or Snow only, especially on laptops or high refresh-rate monitors.
